The Ford Y & C Model Register is accepted by DVLA as a vehicle authenticating body for vehicle registration purposes.

QUESTIONS:
My car does not have a current V5C Registration document. Can you help? Answer – YES!
There are 2 types of application:
(i) To re-register by claiming an ORIGINAL REGISTRATION mark. (This will be non-transferrable.)
(ii). Apply for an AGE-RELATED registration mark.
Does the club make a charge? Yes, a charge will be made to cover administration.
Does the car have to be inspected? Yes, we inspect all vehicles for which applications are made. This is done, at the applicant’s expense, usually by a local experienced club officer.
What do I do now?
Contact the club via our “Contact Us Page“ giving details. You will be sent an appropriate club information sheet.
MEANWHILE …. You should ….
(i) Assemble all relevant documentation relating to the car )Old style logbook RF60, tax discs, MoT’s,
(ii) Old photographs (pre-1983) and any history etc.
(iii) Note identifying numbers: original registration, chassis
number, body number, engine number.
(iV0 Take some pictures of the car. It must be whole, not disassembled. Ensure that the original number is in the picture (where still available).
